The hotel has a "western breakfast" room and a "japanese breakfast" room. I'm the only westerner on the japanese side. Dude, sushi for breakfast? That's what's up in the future
So far everything in Japan is smaller: cars, towels, people... except the billboards. Those are much larger. Square footgae of billbard per person is greater here
As I was being processed thru customs the printer that makes the passport sticker broke when making mine. It took three customs agents with two printers to get it working again.
Dear Japan, why are you using printers at all?

That's the word so far. All inbound flights to Japan are being rerouted. We had to backtrack a bit to land in Anchorage. Captain is gonna refuel and get a new flight plan. They are hoping we don't stay in Anchorage over one hour.
