Hey NYC, consider participating in a healthcare phonebank this week
I got the following via email from Janice Caswell, a great activist in the city. In fact it was one such email which lead to me posting the following video last week about more doing and less blogging:
Here are the options. Do it!
Tuesday, December 8 from 6:30 – 9:00 PM
Call out of state for health care reform (Phone Bank)
12 Gramercy Park So. (20th between Park & Irving)
With the Senate in debate over the health care bill, we're going to call voters out of state to ask them to pressure their Senators to support a strong health care bill with a public option. Bring your cell phone, charger and a snack if you can.

Saturday, December 12 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Phone bank for Health Care ReformSocial Bar and Grill, 795 Eighth Avenue, between 48th and 49th streets
It's now more important than ever to remain engaged and active in the coming days and weeks. The more calls we make the closer we get to reforming our broken health care system. Join volunteers with Organizing for America Saturday 12/12th from 4 - 8 p.m. – or for however much time you can give. Please bring your cell phones and chargers!
