Decolonizing Wealth - Book Launch

Join us on Monday, October 15th at 6pm for Edgar Villanueva's Decolonizing Wealth book launch and fundraiser to benefit Native Youth. The event will take place at Highline Ballroom (431 W. 16th St., NYC) featuring live music from performers including Jasmine Cephas Jones(Blindspotting, Hamilton) and Anthony Ramos (Monsters and MenHamilton), as well as an art gallery curated by Edgar Villanueva.

Hosted by Baratunde Thurston, futurist comedian, writer, and cultural critic.

Each ticket holder will receive a signed copy of Edgar's book and be entered to win artwork and prizes hand-selected by the author. Ticket and book sales will be donated to support Native Youth.

We will feature an open bar, passed appetizers, and have a limited menu available with items to order for purchase.

Healthier Colorado is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the voices of Coloradans in the public policy process to improve the health of our state’s residents. We believe that every Coloradan should have a fair chance at living a healthy life. The people of Colorado are our constituency, and Healthier Colorado aims to make meaningful improvements throughout our state’s diverse communities. This is their 4th Annual Gala. Baratunde and his sister, Belinda Thurston, will be the Keynote Speakers of this event.
