Our National Conversation About Conversations About Race: An evening of interracial conversation with Baratunde Thurston and Tanner Colby, moderated by America's leading multiracial conversationalist, Soledad O'Brien

GET TICKETS  or WATCH THE LIVESTREAM

We invite you to join Baratunde and Tanner for an evening of humorous, provocative, and lively conversation about culture, identity, the persistence of the color line, the role of technology in shaping the color line, how to talk about race, how not to talk about race, how to be black, where to be white, what makes a good black friend, why to have white friends, and who really stands to reap the rewards of a rapidly shifting, majority-minority, pre-post-yet-still-very-racial America.

Moderating the event will be award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker Soledad O’Brien, host of CNN’s groundbreaking “In America” series and newly minted corespondent for HBO’s RealSports and Al Jazeera America. All proceeds from the evening’s ticket and book sales will go to to the Soledad O’Brien and Brad Raymond Foundation, which provides educational opportunities for young women.
