So here's what we're planning to do. First, we're making a change such that any updates beginning with @username (that are not explicitly created by clicking on the reply icon) will be seen by everyone following that account. This will bring back some serendipity and discovery and we can do this very soon.

They need to be really clear, like with pictures and screenshots and dioramas and whatnot. Based on my reading of the above clip, and my understanding of semantics and logic, the following is true

"Any updates beginning with @username that ARE explicitly created by clicking on the reply icon will NOT be seen by everyone following that account."

If that is the case, that is also stupid. 99 percent of my replies are initiated by "clicking the reply button" whether on twitter.com or via various Twitter clients.
